Congratulations to all the students who took part in our studio recital earlier in the term.
It was a celebration of effort and progress, and we had a lovely atmosphere of support and acceptance. Each person who stepped up to the piano has a different story, needs, background, and path.
For many students, it was their first time publicly performing in any capacity. Everybody did a wonderful job overcoming their nerves; it can be really difficult to play when your hands are shaking with nerves, but everybody looked calm and prepared.
Please enjoy these photos of the performances:
- Sharron starting us off with ‘Your Song’
- Dana playing ‘Twilight Waltz’
- Elijah playing ‘Dinosaur Don’t!’
- Debbie playing ‘On Tiptoe Through the Haunted House’
- Lyn playing ‘Let It Go’
- Amy playing ‘Blues in Two’
- Amy and May duetting with ‘The Comedians’ Galop’
- May playing ‘A Funny Story’
- Odin playing his own composition ‘The Swaying Leaf’
- Amy playing ‘Marching Ants’
- Isla playing ‘The Shire’
